My fortieth birthday present from Cheryl. I well remember spending ages in Currys/Dixons in my town centre (now there's a thing of the past) looking at the F65 and a Canon EOS 300. Which to buy? Canon or Nikon. In the end Nikon won out. The F65 with a twon kit lens pack.

Yes it has a plastic body and yes it weighs almost nothing. But it has all of the gadgets and settings off the posher Nikons. It can take just as good photpgraphs. May it will break if you drop it. Maybe it will die if you leave it out in the rain. The solution - look after it! Only journalists need to abuse their cameras like that.
